Absolutely! Natasha Reid is a full-service hairstylist with an extensive background in cuts, colors, textured hair treatments and more. As a platform artist and former educator, Natasha can handle all your hair service needs. If you or someone in your bridal party needs a haircut, color, or more extensive service than can be provided the day of the ceremony, all you need to do is schedule an appointment and she will take care of it!
Yes! It is important to go through the styling options for the ceremony to make sure we get the right look for you and your bridal party. This is a separate appointment that will need to be scheduled with Natasha well in advance of the ceremony.
As soon as you know the date is solid, we recommend booking all the wedding related vendors. The venue, photographer, caterer, DJ, and the hairstylist! You cannot book “too early”. The earlier you book the better chance you will have to get the vendors you want.
Required? No…but recommended? YES! You have enough things to worry about without spending time on your hair. Not to mention you probably hired a wedding photographer and all your friends will be there capturing this moment forever. You want to look your best without spending what precious time you have doing it yourself.
How to Get Started?
First step is the most important one. Call Natasha or email her to make sure she has the date available for your ceremony. Nothing else matters if she is already booked that day. Wedding season is busy in Boise and dates go quickly, especially weekends!
After the date availability is confirmed, schedule an initial consultation with Natasha. This will allow her to ask all the especially important questions that ensure a smooth and flawless ceremony (at least as far as hair is concerned!)
- How many people will Natasha need to see? Do not forget the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom…they may want to be involved as well.
- Where will the bridal party get ready?
- Will you need Natasha at more than one location?
- What kind of hairstyles do you want? Simple “updos” or something more elaborate?
- Are there any special hair considerations to plan for? For example, does someone in the party have long extensions or dreadlocks?
- What time will the bridal party need to be in place? This will depend on some of the answers above.
On Your Wedding Day
Be sure your bridal party is on-time with clean hair. Please keep product to a minimum so Natasha has a blank canvas on which to work. Depending on the size of the bridal party, this can be a long process so be prepared with snacks, drinks, and something to read or do.
